The new 007... unfortunately

After months of 'who's it gonna be?' We now have Daniel Craig as the answer, the star of London gangster film 'Layer Cake', Craig who looks nothing like a James Bond.

He's gritty, rough looking and doesnt fit the ladies man profile in the slightest. Oh well we'll have to see what the make up crew and his acting will do for the next film 'Casino Royale' due for release next year.

Not that my opinion matters in the slightest, but I would much rather have seen Clive Owen, or even Eric Bana give it a go. Even Ralph Fiennes or Christian Bale would do, and a bonus of playing Bond? You dont get type cast.

What really gets me, is I had to read about this on the net, when the entire press conference took play a few feet away from my office today. That bridge in the background? Thats Tower Bridge, I can see it from the office windows!
