The English Patient

Who ever said this film was too long? That it dragged? Took forever to get to its point?
I watched this film for the first time 2 nights ago, and at the risk of sounding like an old fart, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Yeah sure its long, but thats the kind of movie it is. Its the same as going to watch 'My little pony' and saying that there wasnt enough action in it!

The English Patient is brilliant and deserved all the credit and awards that it got. If you havent seen it then got watch it... now.

Basic Story? Set in North Africa and Italy during WWII, its a story about a dude who falls in love with a married woman. The dude is weird, the woman is unfaithful, and they all dont live happily ever after, go watch it if you want to know more.

On a side note, I started watching the film with the Directors commentary last night, I cant do that, I put it off after 5 minutes, I feel like it takes the magic away, makes it feel less real.
