A day without Access

Every day since starting at my current job, I have had unlimited access to the internet. Broadband internet, no less. After a few weeks of this, you start taking it for granted, why not? Its there every day, you get to use it whenever you want, ‘click’ and a few seconds later there’s 40mb of whatever data you wanted right in front of you, until… a day like today. ‘They’ moved the floor boxes to witch network cables are connected and mine wasn’t reconnected, not only was it not reconnected but all the wires were cut! Cut! Why? Because the floor box was outside the office before and has now been moved into the office, the only way of doing this is to cut the wires, but why haven’t they reconnected me?! It’s a nightmare, I know that sounds really bad when compared to massive blue spiky things eating you in your dreams, and falling of cliffs etc. but this really is a nightmare, where my spare time (lots of it) is spent surfing the net, checking email, updating and reading other blogs, and of course online shopping (not a good thing), I have now gone through almost an entire A4 pad of paper… by doodling!!!
