Batman Begins

Last night was the UK premiere of Batman Begins, the film clamied to be the best Batman film yet. Although I havent seen the film, I dont think the critics are far wrong (with the exception of Burtons's Batman Returns). I dont think much was spared on marketing the film last night, with Bat signals flitting accross the surrounding buildings, sounds of random colonies of bats terrorising the skies, Gotham style music, and a really big rusted copper Bat Sign above the Odeon.

Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, and Katie Holmes were all there signing autographs, although it was clear that the main star was not in fact Bale (Batman), he played second fiddle to the roaring Batmobile and Dawson's Joey Potter, it was good to see that she has outgrown her overly intelectual, puppy faced teen character. At 26 Katie Holmes has alot going for her, if only she could avoid films like 'First Daughter'.
