Blunt becomes sharp

If anyone hasnt yet heard of him, you soon will, James Blunt has become the new cool 'Slit my wrist and want to die' type music, I call it that cause like so much other music out there, it can be depressing very easily. The coolest thing about all this, is that I've had his album for more than a month before it was released. What is it about having things before you're meant to that is so cool? Or is it just me, I guess it all started with my first DivX. Watching 'The Matrix' 2 months before anyone has even heard of it, (I was probably about 15 at the time) is just a whole different kind of cool.
