Timechange Nightmare

Im sure you are all aware of this stupid thing called 'daylight savings', on Sunday the entire United Kingdom had to put their clocks back by one hour to accomodate for the upcoming wintermonths. However after asking quite a number of Brits, not one could give me a good reason as to why this is done, the mornings are now lighter earlier (when most people are still sleeping) and the afternoons are darker earlier (when people aer leaving work). This means that when I get home at about 5 its pitch black outside, doesnt make any sense!

Other than that, all is well. London is still as busy as ever, people dont seem to slow down over here, everyones always rushing to get the tube, and walking at an abnormally fast pace (all the time) they may as well be running. I think all Brits should come to Cape Town at least once in their lives to see how things are supposed to be done! Just chill.
